about

History

From an early age, I knew I wanted to work with cars. Not just changing oil filters or fixing a flat, I wanted to problem solve; take things apart and then put all the components back together again, this time smarter, cleaner, and more effectively.

If you’ve driven a performance vehicle in the area and you’ve taken it to a local shop, I’ve likely worked on your Corvette, Muscle Car, or Classic Italian Car…you name it!

I’ve had the good fortune of learning from and working with top-notch mechanics in Montgomery County, Maryland. In 2021, I decided to branch out and start Retrospective Customs so I could further specialize my trade and be closer to my family.

30+ years experience

I am grateful to have worked with and learned from some of the leaders in the automotive restoration and automotive performance industry. These many years of hands-on experience have provided me with the ability to handle everything from general maintenance to complete custom builds. My organizational skills, customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship have garnered attention and awards at several automotive shows.

I am dedicated to the restoration and preservation of historic vehicles, as well as performance upgrades of newer vehicles. My latest passion is the integration of new technology with the classic design of older vehicles.
